And what do my five-year-old and I have in common? We both like to WATCH the dolphins play with bubbles! A couple of weeks ago, I briefly shared with you about the Dolphin Bubbles site, but the folks at Sea World (who are sponsoring this post) asked me to share a little bit more with you and I’m happy to do so because this video:

Is about the coolest thing I’ve ever seen! Joshua and I watched it together twice today and it is truly fascinating & fun. I knew dolphins were smart, but to see them creating a toy for themselves to play with and then doing so many different things with it is just incredible. I mean I am pretty sure both my kids are smarter than dolphins, but getting them to entertain themselves for a period of time with all the toys the ALREADY HAVE can be quite a challenge! So, seeing the dolphins make and manipulate their bubbles is kind of inspiring. The other thing I liked about the video is when the Sea World staff explains that this started with just one or two dolphins, but the other dolphins either watched and learned how to make the bubbles or were taught by their peers how to do it. Amazing!

For another really cool video of the dolphin bubbles, seen on ABC News, that explains even more, click here.

I love the dolphin bubbles! To me, seeing the dolphins blow bubbles & play is just a really great reminder of how amazing all God’s creation is! What do you think about when you watch the video?
