I think I spent a little too much time this week complaining about poor customer service (but they made it up to me), so I wanted to restore my karmic balance and rave about some outstanding CS I received a month or so ago.

In August, we purchased this for Kate (bored 4 y.o. + teacher&summer SAHD + newborn = desperation)

On about the third time she used it, we noticed that it wasn’t inflating all the way, and discovered that some of the seams were pulling away from each other. It wasn’t a huge deal, but we had just forked over pretty significant cash for this thing and wanted it to work perfectly.

I called customer service (I swear I really don’t do that very often, I just blog about it when I do, apparently!) and they told me to take pictures of the problem and email the pictures and copies of my receipt to their customer service department. Then, they’d determine the appropriate course of action. I did all that, and didn’t hear a word one way or the other for a couple weeks.

I was just starting to get frustrated when one day I came home and a box containing a BRAND NEW BOUNCER was waiting on my front porch. (And, I might add, the old one was still sitting in my garage – Little Tikes didn’t want me to go to the time, hassle or expense of sending it back!).

Is that awesome or what? Little Tikes, you have a customer for life. Muchas gracias.

(p.s. when I was trying to find a picture of this bouncer, I noticed that it’s no longer being sold. Maybe they had lots of problems with it…)
