Years ago, when Joshua and Kate were babies, Emily first told me about Robeez shoes. I had never heard of them, but on her recommendation, went out and bought Joshua a pair. They were awesome! They are sweet leather soft-soled shoes that really stay on well. They are easy to clean (I always just cleaned his up with a baby wipe, but they are machine washable!) and very durable. And of course, they are ca-uuu-ute CUTE! Joshua had three different pairs until he was too old for them *sniff* and when Sophie came along, I of course got her some Robeez too. But, since she is a girl, she needed twice as many pairs to get through her baby and toddlerhood. Now that she is about to turn two (*sniff* again!) she is ready for some big-girl shoes! So, I was thrilled to find that Robeez has come out with a new line of hard-sole shoes called Tredz.

I haven’t taken the plunge and bought her any yet, but I am thinking they are going to be her “big” birthday present (because she is two and has no clue what is going on and won’t cry about not getting a toy!) I also really, really want to get her these boots, but mostly because I wish they came in MY SIZE!

Have any of you ever tried the Robeez Tredz, and if so, what did you think?? I’m curious, and hoping they are as awesome as the original!

Robeez footwear is what I love! (The Robeez people aren’t even paying me to say this, but once again, Robeez folks, I can be bought!) For more mommy loves, head over to Things I Love Thursday at the Diaper Diaries.

You may recall a few weeks ago I wrote about my love affair with my Lands End Trellos – the most comfortable shoes on the face of the earth. Well, I ended that post by joking that I wasn’t getting paid to endorse the Trellos but that I could be bought. Whaddya know, the good folks at Lands End took me seriously (sort of). Within a few hours of posting, I had an email from Lands End asking if I would like to try their new colder weather version of the Trello, the fleece-lined and cleverly named FELLO! So, I of course, did the happy dance and said “YES! I’d love to try them! They even let me choose which color! Here they are, in all their glory:

I chose the Vivid Plum color. Hey they were free, why be practical? I had to wait a few weeks after they arrived before it got chilly enough for me to really try them out. Of course, I LOVED them! I knew I would! The fleece lining is really soft and keeps my tootsies warm, and they are every bit as comfortable as their summery counterpart. They are much heavier, though and more of an “outdoor” shoe (I wear my Trellos around like they are house slippers). Bottom line, my feet are warm and comfortable, and they do NOT hurt at the end of the day! Yay! I am definitely going to order another pair. I really want the Autumn Orange, but my practical side says I should go for the Spice Brown. What do you think?

I think I LOVE Lands End Fellos! To see what everyone else is lovin’, check out Things I Love Thursday at the Diaper Diaries.

It’s Things I Love Thursday at the Diaper Diaries and I’m here to tell you about my fa-vor-ite shoes, Lands End Trellos. I can’t believe I’ve never blogged about them before! As long as it’s warm enough, I am wearing either the clog or the sandal about 98% of the time. Because having babies ruined my feet, (my arches fell and never quite recovered) most shoes hurt my feet and going barefoot hurts worse! After I had my second child, I started looking for some footwear that would work for me. I had tried some generic store-brand Crocs and they were comfortable but fell apart too quickly. “Real” Crocs were too pricey for me (hey, I am mega-cheap!), so I decided to try Lands End’s version, the Trello. I got one pair, loved them, and soon ordered another. They lasted me about 15 months before they started to wear out. They still LOOK great, but finally started hurting my feet after that time. When time came to order a couple of new pairs, Lands End had come out with the Trello sandal, so I ordered two pair of those as well as two pair of the clogs. I LOVE the sandals! They are even more comfortable than the clogs, if that is possible. They have some sort of cushy padding in them that feels great on my tootsies. (And yes, “cushy” and “tootsies” are technical terms.)

I would highly recommend the Trellos, and they are on sale right now at Lands End – only $14.50 for the sandal and $19.50 for the clog! I promise I am not making any dough off of this, (though I can be bought – are you listening Lands End???) I just looooves me these shoes!
